In 2012 Dr Raymond Joe became the proud owner of what was then known as Dominion Road Dental Care. That same year Rhiannon and Kimiko joined the team with Dr Nancy coming on board in 2018. Together we created what is now known as Flash. The Dentists on Dominion Road.

We believe that visiting the dentist should be a positive and enjoyable experience so say goodbye to the cold and clinical dental experiences of the past. Your first visit with us will be a comprehensive examination which is an hour appointment so you will have plenty of time to get to know your new Dentist in Mt Eden, ask any questions you may have and go over your previous experiences. This appointment also gives us a chance to understand what you want and need from us as Dentists and gives us an opportunity to structure your future appointments in a way that means your individual needs are met. We will clearly discuss all of your treatment options and the costs associated with it and then schedule future appointments around your budget and your schedule. We believe that being transparent about costs helps take some of the anxiety out of dental appointments and helps our patients plan for their future treatment.

Our team is passionate about giving back to the community and over the years we have travelled to Cambodia and Fiji to provide dental care to underserviced areas. We have hosted free dental days in which we provide dental care in exchange for pet food that is then donated to the SPCA as well as volunteering our time to the Auckland City Mission. In 2018 We worked with Dr Nancy and the community on Great Barrier Island to set up a Dental Clinic and provided dental care to the island for several years.

As a team we are determined to reduce our waste and have implemented a number of eco-friendly practices with the goal of becoming New Zealand’s most sustainable dental practice. In the last 10 years we have reduced our waste to landfill by over 83% and introduced a number of take-back schemes including terracycle oral care recycling and being a Solid Oral Care return point.
